Inaugural Bicycle Expedition along the Danube River

The inaugural expedition along the Danube bicycle tour is a classic ride down the historic Danube River that travels from Germany’s Black Forest to the delta of the Danube in Romania on the Black Sea coast.

This bike tour along the Danube River travels through some of the great capitals of central and Eastern Europe, including Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest, Romania. During the first two weeks our bike ride follows the border of classical Rome in Germany. We follow some of the most important Medieval trade routes from Southern Germany into the Alps and visit historic Medieval towns such as Ulm, Regensburg, and Linz. We finish our Expedition with a boat ride in the delta and a night on the Black Sea coast.

For anybody who can’t take time off for the whole thing, we split this tour in two for you so you can do just the first fifteen days from the Black Forest to Budapest, Hungary, or you can do the last two and a half weeks from Budapest to the Black Sea.
