Kodak's new contract with Amerinet

Eastman Kodak announced today a new contract with Amerinet for laser imagers, laser media and radiographic film.

Under a new three-year agreement, Amerinet - a leading group purchasing organization (GPO) that serves as purchasing agent for its member hospitals - will offer KODAK medical imaging products to its membership that includes hospitals, outpatient imaging centers and private physician offices.

"Kodak is a trusted leader in medical imaging with a reputation for providing outstanding products and services to the healthcare profession," said Tom Emmerson, Senior Contract Manager, Amerinet. "As a result of this agreement with Kodak, our members can purchase the latest in KODAK general radiology films and KODAK DRYVIEW laser imaging systems."

The agreement runs from January 1, 2007 to December 30, 2009. Additional details were not disclosed.

"This contract will enable us to provide market leading radiographic films and high-quality laser imager products that deliver outstanding value to Amerinet's membership," said Connie Pettijohn, Vice President of Corporate Sales, Kodak's Health Group - Kodak.
