
As we follow the NCAA Tournament, some results and scores are already out. Michigan State defeats Temple, 72-61, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday in Denver, Colorado.
Raymar Morgan led the fifth-seeded Spartans with 15 points, making seven of nine shots. Freshman guard Chris Allen came off of the bench to add 12 points.
Temple star Dionte Christmas was held to two points on just 1-10 from the field. Mary Tyndale scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Michigan State will face the winner of the Pittsburgh/Oral Roberts game on Saturday as they advance to the second round of the South region.
