No more clowning around for a parking space for Grand Theatre patrons. The Grand Theatre, in association with Blackpool Council, is now happy to offer discounted car parking at West Street Car Park to all its theatre patrons.

It's no joke trying to find a quick and safe car parking space before curtain up. Now, it couldn't be easier"¦ or cheaper! Directly opposite the theatre entrance is the recently refurbished West Street Car Park where parking is available at a discounted rate for Grand Theatre customers. Guests simply book a parking ticket when booking their show tickets from the Box Office and enjoy easy, secure parking from 5.30pm until 11.30pm for only £2.50! (saving £3 on normal price).

Mooky the Clown is so keen to secure his spot for the fascinating public lecture Fools and Horses: The Victorian Clown at the Grand Theatre later this month, he's parked up already!

Grand Theatre manager, Paul Iles, said: "There are few theatres with such convenient car parking as is now available for Grand Theatre patrons. Cars may park directly opposite the theatre at West Street Car Park; receive a parking discount and enjoy an evening of great theatre."

Blackpool Council invested £750,000 to transform West Street Car Park last year and facilities now include an extensive CCTV network, constant staff presence during opening hours, improved lighting, wider parking spaces and even bigger designated parent & toddler and disabled parking bays. Access is greatly improved with a lift from street level to all floors and a new staircase, new external and internal signs make the car park more prominent and all parking areas have been fully resurfaced.
