Join us for a highly entertaining evening during Fashion Week El Paseo, March 26, 2008, 7pm to 9:30pm, for Lights Camera FASHION! Hollywood Here Now! a theatrically-produced fashion show featuring the latest looks from El Paseo's leading retailers and a rare collection of gowns worn by Ginger Rogers, with talent from the Palm Springs/Hollywood connection and hosted by Palm Springs Women in Film & Television.
The event will be held inside the Big White Fashion Week Tent on Larkspur just south of El Paseo. Wine and appetizers are courtesy of Castelli's and Fusion One. Seating is limited. Tickets are $50.00.
The Ginger Rogers gowns span decades of her illustrious career both on and off-screen, and were designed and created by fashion icons Jean Louis and Nolan Miller. Movie buffs will recognize gowns Rogers wore at Academy Awards presentations and other legendary performances, such as "Top Hat" with Fred Astaire.
The latest fashions from El Paseo icons Escada, Saks, Caroldean El Paseo, Gail Jewelry, Nomads of the Desert, Hills Furs and Leather, Fe Zandi, BG's Eclectic, and She She will be modeled by local TV/film/radio personalities.
