The cast of Dick Turpin – the panto at York Theatre Royal is yet to be confirmed, but writer, co-director and dame, Berwick Kaler told audiences on the last night of Sinbad the Sailor that he was very much looking forward to seeing his babbies and bairns at his 30th anniversary pantomime. He said "I have been elated with the positive response to Sinbad the Sailor and this year's production will be a true celebration of 30 years of panto fun on stage! "
Traditionally on the first day of booking, patrons have begun queuing from as early as 3am. Staff at the Theatre will be donning their favourite pantomime costumes and welcoming bookers with tea and coffee from 9am when the mad rush for tickets begins.
