Brisbane centre Justin Hodges has praised the determination of his injury-hit side following their 36-2 thrashing of the Cowboys at Lang Park on Friday night.
The Broncos were without key playmakers Darren Lockyer and Karmichael Hunt, but piled on six unanswered tries to remain unbeaten from the opening three rounds of the NRL season.
"It was awesome ... we played without Lockyer and Karmichael, our main ball players," he said.
"We managed to put on 30-odd points so it was something special."
Meanwhile, Luke Burt says the Eels must address inconsistency and poor ball handling despite their 24-23 golden point win over the Knights.
Burt produced the winning field goal in extra time at Parramatta Stadium, but says there are plenty of things to work on.
"Over the last three weeks there've been sections that have been great for us, but other parts have just let us down," he said.
"Ball control, completions of sets... we've just got to get that consistency in the side and we'll come good."
