Pensacola has the Blue Angels and Panama City Beach has the Thunderbirds.

Now celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Air Force Reserve is linking its past to its future. As members of the Air Force Reserve fly the F22 Raptor, the newest fighter jet of the United States, Ed Hamill will take the Air Force Reserve Biplane through the history of air show trends at the Tyndall Air Force Base Gulf Salute. His performance will trace the style of the barnstormer pilots of the 1920s and 30s through the "sky dancers" of today on March 29, 2008, at Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City, Florida.

Ed Hamill will demonstrate an array of "Cuban Eights," knife edge passes, snap rolls and some surprise moves only he has perfected. As a member of the Air Force Reserve, Ed can serve his country and still pursue his full-time job of being an aerobatic pilot.

The Air Force Reserve offers competitive pay for part-time, and some full-time, jobs; a generous benefit package that includes tuition assistance, low cost health insurance, a solid retirement plan, even tax-free discounted shopping; and you will continue to live in Florida for as long as you wish.

The Air Force Reserve operates in several areas of the Sunshine State, including Patrick Air Force Base, where the elite pararescuemen are based, and Homestead Air Reserve Base. New positions are also slated to open at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.

More than 65,000 men and women serve in the Air Force Reserve. These people volunteer to serve their country in the communities in which they live. They are your coworkers and your neighbors. To join them, call 800-257-1212 or log onto AFReserve.com.
