Sydney Kings captain Jason Smith says he would be happy to stay with the club.
Yesterday six other players committed to the Kings for another season.
Only Smith and fellow Boomer Mark Worthington are yet to re-sign.
Smith says he is not actively looking for a move away from Sydney.
"My kids are in school here, I've got a really nice lifestyle in Sydney and obviously a lot of success here so there's no reason why those things wouldn't change," he said.
"But I'm also a businessman and this is probably my last contract as a professional athlete so I've got to be serious about it and make sure I do the right thing by my family."
Smith admits the departure of coach Brian Goorjian has made him think more but he will make a decision in the next few days.
"There was a little bit of turmoil at the club at the end of last season, but they're making the right steps in regard to that," he said.
"But it's just something I'll have to think about over the next 48 hours."
