Turkish propagandists hit Wikipedia

This following is my response to an article published by the Turkish press, the article is called "Asimed Urges Wikipedia To Remove "semi-protection" Over Article On Armenian Allegations".

"The Turkish Association for Fight Against Unfounded Genocide Allegations" sounds absurd already but lets get to the point. The following is from the Turkish Press that says, "The Turkish Association for Fight Against Unfounded Genocide Allegations (ASIMED) launched an e-mail campaign against Wikipedia urging it to remove the "Semi-Protection" lock over the article on Armenian allegations concerning the incidents of 1915." First I would like to say that the only reason Semi-protection was put because Turkish individuals were constantly spamming the page with hateful slanderous words about the Armenian Genocide. So if it was un-semi protected, it will continue and obviously they want to add there propaganda to the article.

"When you browse the English version of Wikipedia which publishes its content in various languages, one notices an issue in complete contrast with the Wikipedia principles. In the english website while the article on Armenian allegations concerning the incidents of 1915 contain all the thesis of the Armenian diaspora, the Turkish thesis are excluded," said Egilmez.

Response: Dear Mr. Egilmez, the information provided in the Armenian Genocide article is edited by dozens of non-Armenians, this 'the incidents of 1915 contain all the thesis of the Armenian diaspora, the Turkish thesis are excluded' is complete nonsense. First the context provided in the article is made up of scholarly and historian work (majority non-Armenians), that is reliable and worthy, while all Turkish individuals want to add are propaganda sites promoting hatred towards Armenians, just like Nazis who deny the Holocaust who are wanting to promote there 'side'.

"The web site allows users to make editions in all subjects, but it does not allow edition of the article on Armenian allegations. The site only provides the theses of the Armenian diaspora. This is a great injustice against the Turkish Nation."

Response: Again, there is no 'Armenian thesis' of the 151 references provided there is majority non-Armenian references that are reliable and scholarly not that the Armenian historians work are not reliable, but they are not third party. Unfortunately some people will never accept the truth, whether it is really the truth, they will keep denying.
