Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy says he has not spoken to Brisbane about its coaching vacancy.
Wayne Bennett will leave Brisbane at the end of this season and will coach St George Illawarra in 2009.
Bellamy has been linked to the position at the Broncos, where he was assistant to Bennett for four years until 2002.
He says he has a contract with Melbourne until the end of next year and the Broncos have not approached him.
"They haven't spoken to me yet," he said.
"I'm committed here for the next two years, I've got a contract, I know I've said it a thousand times, but it's true and as far as I'm concerned I'll be here for the next two years.
"I'm fully committed to that."
Bellamy also says the NRL should look at introducing an AFL-style draft system to restrict player movement during the season.
Melbourne's Israel Folau has signed to play with Brisbane while Willie Tonga has also announced he will move clubs in 2009 after agreeing terms with North Queensland.
Folau has been developed by the Storm but chose to return to Brisbane where his family resides.
Bellamy says player movement must be addressed.
"I just don't think we should be comfortable with the system at the moment where players like Israel and Willie Tonga, after three rounds, know they're not going to be there at the club they're at this year and they're going to be at another club next year," he said.
"I've always been a bit of a fan of the draft."
