Peter Schiff is a Wimp Compared to this Guy

Peter Schiff has got some competition. Where Schiff has become a crisis-icon there are those individuals who also foresaw the same set of circumstances unfolding on the world stage and quietly took action for both themselves and their investor clients.

I have heard the voice of the oracle and to my overwhelming surprise it was not Peter Schiff. As a matter of fact the voice I heard was a man's who has never made an appearance on CNBC, or Bloomberg, or any other mainstream media channel that spits out Wall Street cheerleading rhetoric and ridicules those who question the intelligence of market-makers and our reckless government bailouts. Even more surprisingly the voice emanated not from the continental US but from the middle of the Pacific ocean on the island of Maui. His name is Greg Simmons and to lay eyes on him for the first time I wasn't sure if he was a reclusive dope growing hippie living in the lush green hills of Maui or if he was the eccentric genius he appeared to be. Turns out he's the latter.

Known as "G" on his web-site ScopeLabs.net, Greg Simmons is an options trader who's seen enough Wall Street gaming over the last twenty-five years to claim with credibility that the whole thing is a sham. Not even Peter Schiff goes public with such unabashed truth as Greg Simmons purports on his YouTube posts within his site. To listen to him speak is to hear the words most Americans wished they could articulate but lack the mental acumen and/or testicles to say out loud.

Ripping into the Wall Street establishment and exposing them for the lot of bandits they are Simmons appears on his videos to be a combination ranting lunatic, economic genius, market master, and just plain common sense American dude done well. He speaks like a man who has discovered a truth and is frantically trying to let the world know. His success in the markets as an options trader is evidenced on his site and his market calls over the years are nothing short of prescient. From the windward side of Maui on the sloping green hillside of Haleakala crater Greg Simmons conducts his trading operation in what he calls the Lab. A room filled with racks of computer screens and high speed servers the Lab sits in the middle of this tropical paradise like a mini stock exchange surrounded by mango trees and cane spiders. When Simmons is trading his energy boils like the restless volcano on which his feet are planted and to watch him work you expect an earth-shattering explosion at any moment.

Simmons wasn't always an islander. From the About Greg Simmons page of ScopeLabs.net:

Gregory Alan Simmons is founder and the creative force behind Scope Labs, an Algorithmic Trading and Research Project. Few if any can match Mr. Simmons empirical documented record of picking markets trends and sounding alarms before disaster strikes.

Over the last twenty years while being a "Prop trader" using options and derivatives, he has managed hundreds of millions of dollars acting as lead derivative strategist for numerous financial institutions and is well published in financial periodicals (see "Empirical evidence") predicting many events would in fact unfold as they have - - see 2003 thesis.

Acting as managing Director and/or Senior Management/trader with firms such as John Hancock Insurance owned Sutro and Co., Mitchum, Jones & Templeton, and Roth Capital (formally Cruttenden & Roth), his opinion developed into a commodity of it’s own.

In 2003 he (Simmons) moved to Hawaii from California to retire, feeling that with the forthcoming drop in the VIX and the troublesome "list" of "market negatives" that he compiled (see 2003 thesis on web page under Empirical Evidence tab) that there was no meaningful edge to continue trading. After a 2 year break he put forth a greater effort in using applied mathematics and randomized testing. These experimental trading models - - with the evolution of increased platform speed and improvement in chip speed - - allowed for greater "data mining" abilities and testing. Launching Scope Labs, LLC. with multiple "labs" in different time-zones offering triple redundancy for data integrity and storage of "scrubbed" and "unmolested data" has to date proven profitable in the current uncharted global depression.

I warn you that a visit to ScopeLabs.net will more than anything you've read or watched since this global circle-jerk began, simply infuriate you. You will become incensed not so much by what Simmons says, but because it's true. Wall Street exists to steal your money. This, coming from the lips of an insider. I'm sure Peter Schiff would cheer on every word Simmons has to say. The difference between the two men is that while Schiff will lose your money, Simmons will make it grow. Check out ScopeLabs.net or search the same on YouTube. Here's a sample of what this island maniac has to say. It makes perfect sense to me.
