Sebastian Sidi: Live in Concert

Sebastian Sidi, the popular Uruguay-born American musician and composer credited with defining a new music genre that can be described as classical, new age rock with a touch of Latin flavor, will present “Sebastian Sidi: Live in Concert” at the OC Pavilion Performing Arts Theatre on Friday, April 25 at 8 p.m.

The theatrical concert event will be filmed for Sidi’s PBS debut, planned to air on KOCE-TV during the summer of 2008. Sidi will work side-by-side with 12-time Emmy Award-winning producer, George Veras, who produced “Yanni Live at the Acropolis.”

“Sebastian Sidi: Live in Concert” will feature original compositions from Sidi’s four albums, including 1999's raw, uplifting “Prelude;” 2000's intricate “Electrified;” 2002's relaxed “Passion;” and 2005’s “Desperate Journey.”

The OC Pavilion Performing Arts Theatre is located at 801 North Main Street in Santa Ana, Calif. Tickets for the event range from $25 to $35 and can be purchased online at www.ocpavilion.com or by calling 714-550-0550. For more information about Sebastian Sidi, visit www.myspace.com/sebastiansidi.
