Variety on Ice glides into Blackpool's Grand Theatre from Wednesday 16th April to Sunday 20th April in sensational style with daily matinee and evening performances from the world renowned International Ice Stars.
Variety on Ice will astound and delight all the family with spectacular skating on a stage of real ice and amazing acrobatic feats from the International Ice Stars, including twice British Champion ice skater John Hamer, Estonian champion Alexei Kozlov and the sensational Svetlana Murzak with her breathtaking Cloud Swing.
Tribute meets ice as rock 'n' roll hits from five decades are performed on ice with love songs and classics brilliantly choreographed in a kaleidoscope of colour and spectacle. Blackpool's Grand Theatre has commissioned this dazzling new production from Wild Rose Ltd (the creators of last year's smash hit Peter Pan on Ice) as this year's National Theatre of Variety performance. Wild Rose Ltd is a UK production company which created the 'theatre on ice' concept for The Russian Ice Stars in 1993. Its amazing ice productions, designed to fit on theatre stages throughout the world, reveal the incredible breathtaking skill of their skaters who have received worldwide public and critical acclaim for their spectacular performances.
