Ali, the winner, weighed 122 lbs. (she started at 234!) She lost 112 lbs.! She looked phenomenal - 47.86% of her body weight. Ali Vincent thus becomes the first woman Biggest Loser!
I know it is weird that I am making two posts in one day, but I just finished watching "The Biggest Loser Finale" and I thought I would tell you the results first hand. Well, it is based on percentage of weight loss so, Ali won the title. Though, Roger was the overall biggest loser with a 164 pounds. Also, Bernie won the at home Biggest Loser title, but Curtis lost the most weight of the eliminated players with 150 pounds.
I am not surprised Ali Vincent became the winner of the Biggest Loser Season 5 won because she is an athlete and has been trying her hardest to win until she didn't look good and lost too much weight with only weighing 122 pounds and she is tall unlike me.

Another blogger at Healthbolt writes: "The thing that strikes me most about Ali is her “In It To Win It” attitude. She said she was going to be the first female Biggest Loser, and by golly, she was. That seems to be a key to long-term weight loss. You have to become the person you want to be, instead of just thinking of becoming that person. To do so, of course, takes effort each day, one day at a time. Small things here and there add up to make a giant difference. And while it’s unlikely that the majority of us will ever go through the intensive training that the Biggest Loser contestants did, it is comforting and inspiring to know that every little bit of exercise we eek out, every cookie we skip is all adding up toward one important goal."
You got the numbers
You got the numbers backwards. Ali weighs 112, not 122.
