After making its debut with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in the 2007 Christmas Concerts, the Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir went on to impress the audience with their angelic voices in Mahler’s Third Symphony in January.

This April, the choir returns with their inaugural performance at the Victoria Concert Hall on April 20 conducted by Quek Soo Hiang and Wong Lai Foon.

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra Children’s Choir was formed in June 2006 under the direction of choral master Lim Yau.

The children will perform heartwarming songs ranging from choral favourites such as John Rutter’s All Things Bright and Beautiful, Mathias’ Salvator Mundi, to popular melodies including Moon River and Born Free as well as music from well-loved classics Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins. -- www.sso.org.sg
