FourZeroTwo, spokesperson for Call of Duty 4 and slaughterer of those that stand against him in Hardcore matches, just posted that Call of Duty 4 has now sold over nine million copies.
As if that number wasn't surprising enough, he also announces that the downloadable map pack of Call of Duty 4 reached one million sales in a matter of 9 days.
Sure, it crashed Live most of the first night of launch, and too many people unfairly vote down Chinatown even though it's one of the best maps in the pack, but that's a damned impressive number. And not only that, but CoD'ers have now logged over 30 million sessions in multiplayer. Now that's saying something.
