The Conservative Financial Times Stands For Obama

In a surprising move the Financial Times, newspaper of the wealthy and conservatives, endorses Barack Obama for the U.S. presidency.

The Financial Times editorial board has endorsed Barack Obama. That doesn’t matter a whole lot in the world of endorsements except the FT is a daily read of conservatives, the international business community, and people with great inherited wealth.

These are the kinds of conservative endorsements that move Rush Limbaugh to urge his ignorant followers to register Democrat and vote for Hillary Clinton. Limbaugh won’t tell his knuckle dragging listeners that the FT endorsed Barack Obama. He will tell them that Louis Farrakhan endorsed Barack Obama.

The FT doesn’t much like Hillary Clinton but uses the same old cliches to condemn her. I’m not sure from reading the editorial whether they like Barack Obama so much because they dislike Hillary Clinton so deeply. I suspect that is the case since the FT endorsement, like so many, are betting on temperment and character and write that Obama has it and Clinton does not.
