Lattakia Governor Zahed Haj Moussa and Cyprus Ambassador to Syria Efstathios Orphanides has discussed the cultural, economic, tourist and agricultural situation in Lattakia, and projects of rehabilitating the infrastructure in addition to the tourist investment of Lattakia coast.

During their meeting in Lattakia Municipality yesterday, the two sides discussed the possibility of running regular cruises by two Cyprus companies beginning from May between the two ports of Lattakia and Limassol.

For his part, the Cypriot ambassador said that his country was interested in encouraging the tourist activities in Syria and in boosting the standing civilized historical relations between the two countries.
