Microsoft has issued a summons against a Dutch woman who developed an anti-chat program.
The woman, who lives in Lochem, developed the program so that she could monitor, and record, her children's online chats. She then sold the program, which she called Benzoy, to other parents.
However, the program is also known as MSN-LOCK, a reference to the Microsoft chat program MSN. The software giant says that this is an infringement of its copyright and is demanding that the name MSN-LOCK be withdrawn.
Microsoft is also demanding that all registered domain names including the letters 'MSN' be handed over to it.
