In Anticipation of Pennsylvania Primary's Exit Polls

Posted April 22nd, 2008 by admin_huliq

Today is a decisive day for the democratic hopefuls for the US Presidency as the polls open in Pennsylvania for the Democratic Primary. While there is huge anticipation to the results of the exit polls, they will be available this evening.

Of course things won't get interesting until the poll results, or at least the exit polls are tallied and reported, and that doesn't happen until this evening. Still, its worth noting the Pennsylvania Primary exit polls, and predictably, Senator Clinton is sweeping up the majority of votes (and she'll need every one of those votes to defeat Obama).

It has been noted that Senator Clinton is more appealing to blue collar workers, and Obama's "bitterness" gaff where he characterized Pennsylvanians as "gun-toting people who cling to their religion and have an antipathy towards those not like them" can't be helping.

A big win for Senator Clinton at this Pennsylvania Primary will have many Republicans dancing in the streets since they consider Clinton to be the weaker of the two Democratic candidates when pitted against McCain in the national horse race. Honestly I don't think it really matters who takes the Democratic nomination since both Democratic candidates are vastly dysfunctional compared to McCain, writes Speaker's Journal - Pennsylvania Primary from the Livejournals.

Abe Amorós, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party writes in the party's PA website saying The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. all throughout the state. And while this is an exciting day that will undoubtedly bring more Democrats to the polls than any other primary election in recent history, we should be very respectful at the polls to both sides and thank them for being so vocal and passionate about Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama.

According to Rightpundits "Experts believe that Hillary Clinton wins Pennsylvania so this becomes a game of expectations. The expectation set by the media and the campaigns is that she needs to win by 10+ points to maintain her viability as a candidate. If she wins by less, this long primary battle will finally come to an end whether or not she technically stays in the race."

We will just wait and see until the results of the Pennsylvania Primary exit polls are out

New PA poll predicts 16 point Clinton victory

***BREAKING NEWS UPDATE (and reassuring to my prediction of a 14 to 16 point Clinton victory today) American Research Group, Inc. just released its April 21, 2008 Pennsylvania poll results: Clinton 56%, Obama 40%--a 16 point lead.

Moreover, these results show a 3 point increase from 4/19/08, demonstrating a clear trend in Clinton’s favor—meaning a Clinton victory of 19 points is not out of the question.

shameful misquote

Your misquote of Sen. Obama - "gun-toting people who cling to their religion and have an antipathy towards those not like them" - is shameless. Congrats "Huliq" - you have now officially discredited yourself as a legit. news source.

Republicans will be dancing

Republicans will be dancing in the street because they think Obama is a racist, anti-american with terrorist ties, not because they think Hillary will loose.

Where the heck did this

Where the heck did this quote come from? -->

"gun-toting people who cling to their religion and have an antipathy towards those not like them"

Those aren't Obama's words. Why does this "news" article make it look like it is a quote from Obama?
