Denver Art Museum Presents Untitled #14

Thought-provoking or scandalous — the Denver Art Museum (DAM) wants guests to voice their opinions at Untitled #14 (What's Your Beef?), April 25, from 6 to 10 p.m. Whether guests believe a five-year-old could paint an abstract or seek out nudity-free tours, the evening provides a platform for every beef.

Gurus of good, clean food, Slow Food brings their case against the fast-food industry. Offering ideas about food preparation and enjoyment, Slow Food will teach visitors a few tips and tricks. Slow Food works toward sustainable food systems, regional food traditions and a harmonious rhythm of life, rather than following the industrial pattern that has become the norm in American life.

An undercover griper stirs up conversation in the galleries, posing questions to unsuspecting guests. For those who prefer the spotlight, a thought bubble provides the perfect place to confess concerns. Untitled regulars Buntport Theater will keep the crowd laughing with its latest installment of the Joan and Charlie Show, a comical spoof based on two characters in a painting in the DAM's modern and contemporary galleries.

Many artists call their work "Untitled" so nothing limits how each viewer perceives the art. Similarly, anything can happen at Untitled events. Like every final Friday event, Untitled #14 (What's Your Beef?) offers a dose of the unexpected with new music, interactive technology, a cash bar and offbeat encounters with art. Untitled events are included in regular Museum admission. Students presenting valid IDs receive 2-for-1 admission when tickets are purchased on-site. Inspiring Impressionism access requires an exhibition ticket. Catering is provided by Bistro Boys Catering and Gourmet Fine Catering. -- www.denverartmuseum.org
