Nintendo release list: Europe finally getting Smash Bros.

As Nintendo reports record earnings helped with robust Wii game sales, the company has published its 2nd quarter video games release dates for Europe in recard to Wii and Nintendo DS.

Europeans are always getting the cold shoulder from video game publishers when it comes to release dates. Have you been envious of your friends in Japan and North America that have been enjoying Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii? Good news is here as Nintendo Europe has published its Q2 2008 release schedule, and finally confirmed when you guys can get in on the Brawl action- and more.

June 27th is the day that the Wii's biggest title will hits shops in the UK, just waiting for you to cradle it in your hands as you carry it home. Maybe by then Nintendo will have fixed the online play? It was also noted that the WiiWare download service will launch on May 20th, with the Nintendo Channel hitting May 30th. The new Ace Attorney title for the Nintendo DS is dropping in May, along with the two most recent Pokemon spin-offs landing on shelves in July. You know you want to show everyone your Pokemans. Over 50 titles are scheduled to hit Nintendo's platforms between now and October 2008. Will you have enough time?

22 April, 2008 -- As spring bounds in and summer edges closer, a range of new titles make their way on to the Nintendo DS and Wii. With some familiar faces, as well as brand new experiences on both consoles, there will be something for everyone to enjoy over the coming months

From fitness to finding the ultimate brawler, an exciting line up of titles is heading to the Wii over the next few months! The much-anticipated European launch of Wii Fit arrives on Wii 25 April. Bundled with the pressure sensitive Wii Balance Board, Wii Fit brings a new, fun way to help the user and their family exercise in the comfort of their own home. Fan-favourite Mario will also be found brawling with numerous heroes from Nintendo and third-party titles in the eagerly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl from 27 June!

May will see the introduction of two new exciting elements to the Wii Channels. WiiWare will storm onto the Wii Shop Channel offering brand new first- and third-party titles to download directly to the Wii from 500 Wii Points. Nintendo Channel will also be arriving at the end of May, keeping everyone up-to-date on all the latest information for past, present and future games on all Nintendo platforms.

For the Nintendo DS, a new companion for the kitchen will be making its debut as Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide What to Eat? arrives in Europe. Providing numerous mouth-watering recipes and step-by-step guides to preparing dishes from all around the world, this title is guaranteed to propel your taste buds into food heaven! A new face in the world of justice will also take centre stage as Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice launches. Solving mysteries and heading back to the courtroom to nail the criminal, Apollo Justice will have puzzle fans searching out all the essential clues! In July, Pokémon fans will be in for a treat as they get ready to be transformed into a Pokémon and battle through dungeons with the arrival of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness on the Nintendo DS.
