Earlier in the week country singer Miranda Lambert was under investigation after a “fan” accused her of pushing her several times during a confrontation at Bootlegger’s, in Tyler, Texas. Authorities announced yesterday that Miss Lambert has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Aisha Esbay, the fan who falsely accused Miranda of assaulting her is probably wishing she had kept her mouth shut. It looks like the police did a thorough job and found that the accuser made the whole story up.

Esbay in turn was charged with a misdemeanor offense for filing a false report to a police officer and is currently being held in Smith County Jail.

Lambert was born and raised in Lindale, Texas. Her father, Rick, is a retired cop who in later life became a private investigator in partnership with her mother Beverly. Miranda was taught to shoot by her father at an early age and later became an avid deer hunter. Her father took her to a Garth Brooks concert when she was nine and this started her interest in country music. Her father is also a country music artist and she soon began singing in talent contests under his tutelage.
