“Ryan was given every opportunity to be a part of this football team,” Miles said. “In the end, he didn’t fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete. We hope that a new beginning will benefit him.
“I wish Ryan and his family nothing but the best in any of his future endeavors.”
Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at LSU. Miles said he would have no other comment on the matter.

Commenting ON Ryan Perrilloux's dismissal from LSU Football athletics team a blogger from nfl-draft-notebook.blogspot.com has some harsh comments.
"It seems that the marriage between Mr. Perrilloux and LSU wasn't meant to be. You are student athletes, you don't pay the $10,000 per year to be there. You have a FREE EDUCATION as long as you fulfill you one friggin' job: play football and stay out of trouble. If you can't do that then all power to the school for laying the smack down on your hopes of having a professional career."
