While the Amended Complaint could have been made immediately, Star preferred to give a reasonable amount of time for the patent holders to respond to the request to add them as named parties.
Mr. Vieira has been named as an involuntary plaintiff as provided for under U.S. law because of his stated disinterest in actively participating in the law suit.
