Not only does TomCruise.com have a countdown clock on it right now (above), he's bought Google AdWords ads to make sure it's well-promoted. Do a Google search on "Tom Cruise" and depending on your luck, you'll get:

Strangely, doing some simple math, it seems like the site will launch slightly after 9 AM PDT on Monday. Either their clock is a little slow or typical of Cruise, he's doing something weird.

Of course, I was just talking about the timing of the site launch, not whether or not the purpose of the site would be weird.

The domain was first registered in 1996, but not much has been done with it. Administrative contact for the domain, in case you're interested:
