Tom Hanks Endorses Barack Obama In Myspace Video

Parts of the Tom Hanks' endorsement of Barack Obama's video are funny, but then turn serious as Hanks explains why he feels Obama would be the better president.

Tom Hanks is a big celebrity and we are not sure how this will effect, if at all, the news cycles covering the campaign. If networks like CNN and FOX start to talk about this video endorsement we suspect other stars will follow with their own version.

While he gives money to many Democratic politicians, Hanks usually keeps his opinions about politics to himself, though he has been open about his support for environmental causes and alternative fuels.

Tom Hanks, however, has made public his candidate choice in the 2008 election, when he uploaded a video to his MySpace in which he announced his endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama.
