Sirusho to represent Armenia in Eurovision-2008

Armenian young singer Sirusho, who according to Eurovision 2008 has the best chance to win the singing contest, will perform the song "Kele-kele" in "Eurovision-2008" to be held in Belgrade in May representing Armenia.

86.5% of audience voted for that song during the live TV show broadcasted by National TV. The author of the music of this song is the composer Arthur Ter-Hovakimyan.

To note, 4 songs, the author of lyrics of which was Sirusho herself, were brought to a vote of the audience. Let us remind that during the National awarding ceremony Sirusho was announced the best singer of the year.

Sirusho studies at the faculty of International Affairs at Yerevan State University. Sirusho was born on January 7, 1987 in Yerevan. As a singer she had her first experience on stage in Canada, when she was 7. She had concert tours in Belgium, USA, Greece, Holland, Iran, Russia, Georgia, Jordan and elsewhere.

Sirusho's song has become already very popular and having faith in possibly winning Eurovision 2008 Sirusho said in a recent interview that she is ready to host Eurovision 2009 in Yerevan, Armenia.
