From 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the recent smash hit film Enchanted, Disney movie musicals and timeless animated classics have delighted audiences for generations. Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops welcome a talented group of performers to celebrate the magical music of Disney at historic Music Hall on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee on May 11 at 3 p.m.

Joining the Pops for this massive spectacle is Broadway sensation and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music graduate Ashley Brown, who has dazzled audiences in New York playing the title role in Disney's stage production of Mary Poppins. Also joining the Pops are Broadway performers Steven Morgan and Michael Lowe, choruses from Winton Woods and Lakota East high schools, the Children's Choir from Cincinnati's School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and musical theater students from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music

"Disney has become synonymous with top-rate family entertainment," said Erich Kunzel. "This show has something for everyone, spanning decades of fantastic, memorable songs that have captured the imagination. With the spectacle of literally hundreds of musicians on the Music Hall stage, this is a concert experience you and your family will never forget!"

The concert program includes selections from Enchanted, Pinocchio, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella, and The Lion King, among others.

The Cincinnati Pops thanks PNC for its generous sponsorship of these concerts. The Fine Arts Fund Partner for "The Magical Music of Disney" is Duke Energy Corp. -- www.cincinnatisymphony.org
