Mariah Carey gives Ellen DeGeneres the scoop about her wedding to Nick Cannon, saying the reason they kept it secret is so people wouldn’t think it was a publicity stunt.

According to Mariah, Nick has been telling people he was going to marry her since before they met. She also talks about the rings and the tattoos, but doesn’t address the age difference. Mariah is 39 and Nick is 27.

Among all the cougar remarks, and the ‘what could they possibly have in common?’ comments, I say - you go girlfriend! My EX-husband is 14 years younger than me, and although the marriage didn’t work out, I still wouldn’t rule out someone based on their age.
