Five women…five stories…fabulously funny… The hilarious award-winning production of Mum's The Word is back at Blackpool's Grand Theatre from Monday 26th May to Saturday 31st May with an all-star cast!

Mum's The Word is on the road again - liberating, enlightening and educating, but mainly just washing the secret, funny, dirty laundry of motherhood in public for the very first time. The all-star cast features Blackpool's own Bernie Nolan– star of Brookside and The Bill – Sarah White (Brookside) and Pauline Fleming (Coronation Street).

A smash hit on two continents, Mum's The Word is an award-winning theatre piece written by six women who have endured the agonies and ecstasies of parenting. It has played five record-breaking UK tours, received critical acclaim and attracted sell-out audiences throughout Australia, Canada, and across Europe. A hysterically funny and poignant play, it deals in shocking detail with all the important elements of childrearing, which those who are already parents will immediately identify…

"Every day I start out Mary Poppins but I end up Cruella DeVil"

"I find it much easier to be a good mum in public."

"Some mornings when I am desperate for more sleep, I lie to my husband about how many times I got up in the night with the baby."

Mum's The Word is at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool from Monday 26th May to Saturday 31st May. Monday at 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm and Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2pm. Concessions, great group and Friends of the Grand discounts available. -- www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk
