NYSE Euronext Announces Annual Meeting Results

NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX ) announced at its annual meeting today that shareholders who cast votes elected the full slate of 18 directors to its Board, approved the NYSE Euronext omnibus incentive plan, and ratified the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for 2008.

Based on preliminary results presented by Inspector of Elections, MacKenzie Partners, Inc., NYSE Euronext shareholders elected to the Board of Directors: Jan-Michiel Hessels (Chairman of the Board), Marshall N. Carter (Deputy Chairman), Duncan L. Niederauer (Chief Executive Officer), Jean-François Théodore (Deputy Chief Executive Officer), Ellyn Brown, Sir George Cox, William Ford, Sylvain Hefes, Dominique Hoenn, Shirley Ann Jackson, James McDonald, Duncan McFarland, James McNulty, Baron Jean Peterbroeck, Alice Rivlin, Ricardo Salgado, Rijnhard van Tets, and Sir Brian Williamson.

In connection with a decrease in the size of the Board from 22 to 18 directors, four directors chose not to stand for re-election: André Dirckx, Patrick Houël, Robert B. Shapiro and Karl M. von der Heyden. -- www.nyse.com
