Alex Phillips seems to be another teen that may need little maturity to understand that you can't post anything on MySpace and that you have to respect the authority and the law that governs the social setting in which the likes of Alex Phillips live and express themselves through MySpace.

A 17-year-old Wisconsin boy is facing felony charges of child pornography after posting naked pictures of his 16-year-old girlfriend on his MySpace page. Police say Alex Phillips was told to take the photos down or face jail time, but he refused telling an investigator, “F*** that, I am keeping them up.”

The photos were taken on a cell phone by the girl, who sent them to Phillips. The teen said he knew he “probably should not have done this” but posted the pictures because “he was venting.”

Phillips was charged with possession of child pornography, defamation and sexual exploitation of a child. His preliminary hearing is set for May 28.

Editor's Note: I am wondering is MySpace good or bad? On one hand we hear sad things happening through MySpace communications, on the other hand it helps to catch bad habits and reveal people like Alex Phillips who think they can do anything with MySpace and think they can reply to the authority in any way they want.

One thing that has made this country so great is the fact that the law works and people have the respect for the authority yet are able to freely express themselves.
