A complete assessment of the damage will take some time but the twisters devastated areas in Windsor, Colorado and Greeley, Colorado.
The scene after the twisters passed was littered with felled trees, discarded cars and trucks, and personl possessions that were once inside homes.

As reported by the news from the Evangelical Covenant Church from Windsor, Co. "No Evangelical Covenant churches were damaged by a massive tornado that swept through a large area surrounding this community today. No word is yet available on the condition of the former Covenant Bible College campus. Sale of the campus is pending."
The tornado moved quickly through the Windsor area, but killed at least one person, demolished buildings and dumped golf-ball-size hail in places, according to press reports.
9 News reproting from Denver has a news alert that A TORNADO WARNING is in effect until 3:45 p.m. for Yuma County. A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 8 p.m. for various metro-area counties and northern Colorado counties.
One eyewitness describes the Colorado Tornado in the following way. "EXTREMELY LARGE TORNADO in Milliken... wow. There is one fatality reported, but that is not confirmed. Some fatalities (more than one) reported by the Weld County sheriff. He is sharing an emotional discussion of his encounter with the complete demolition of the Windsor area on this live stream (thanks, Paul). Schools on lock down... trouble responding because street signs are gone... another tornado warning up... God, be with these people."
