Two Semifinals were held on May 20 and 22, and 10 countries from each Semi Final qualified for the Final. They will be joined by the “big four” – Great Britain, France, Spain and Germany, as well as Serbia – the winner of the Eurovision 2007.
Armenia's Sirusho has managed to win the cold hearts of Europeans with her “Qele-Qele.” It remains only to ensure a good performance.
Sirusho’s “Qele”Qele” continues leading in many pre-charts. Bookmakers also predict she will rank in the top five. However, the experience of the past years shows that Eurovision does not exclude surprises. Many participants of this unpredictable contest assure that they participate in it to present good music and an interesting show.
There are only few hours until the grand Final will start in the Belgrade Arena, and the 25 delegations who are participating are getting more and more anxious... Who will host the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest? We will find out tonight after knowning the name of the Eurovision 2008 winner.
