
NYSE Euronext announced today that Proventec, a UK company which provides specialist steam-cleaning technologies, listed and opened for trading today on its Alternext Paris market under the ticker symbol "ALPTC".
Proventec is the fifth LSE-listed company to seek a listing on Euronext markets in recent months and the first of these companies to be listed on NYSE Euronext's European market, Alternext.

Proventec is the third international company to list on Alternext, NYSE Euronext's specialist market for small and midsized companies, this year and follows the listing of two Chinese companies.
Alternext, launched in 2005, now includes 122 listed companies, including companies from Belgium , Canada , China , France , Italy , Luxembourg , the Netherlands , Spain and the UK .
