Denver Broncos' Bold Prediction

One of the Denver Broncos many running backs (Selvin Young) has made a really wild statement... He has not even been named the starter in a crowded backfield that includes veteran Travis Henry and recently signed veteran Michael Pittman, and he is already mouthing off to the press saying that he will run for 2000 yards this season.

2000 yards - that seems like a statement you would make to your agent when your playing superstar mode in madden, but not a statement you tell the press when you are not even sure if you have the starting job.

Anyways, Young, a second year running back signed as a an undrafted free agent out of the University of Texas, recorded his first career 100 yard rushing game and first rushing touchdown on November 2007 in a game against Kansas. He registered 109 and 20 attempts. The Broncos won the game and this was their first victory at Arrowhead Stadium since 2002. He finished the season having played 15 games (8 starts) and 729 rush yards on 140 attempts and just 1 rushing TD.

This same guy made the prediction of running the same number of yards as it has only happened five times in history (O.J. in 73, Dickerson in 84, Barry Sanders in 97, Terrell Davis in 98 and Jamal Lewis in 03) this is what Id like to call a Bold prediction and in my opinion maybe even a really stupid one.
