In the fall the schools in our community will be changing over to school uniforms
About a month ago Marion community school board Marion,Indiana recently voted for district wide school uniforms for fall. After one of the middle schools being a pilot school last year to test the uniforms had very postive results.
There were less distractions, less discipline problems and an overall better attitude. Once you can eliminate distractions at schools you can concrete better on learning and teaching which is what school is suppose to be about.
Being a parent I am for it. I am hoping that it will cut the down the time it takes my kids to get ready for school and also hopefully stop the arguing between my girls every morning. I think this is a step in a postie direction to improve our educational system in our community.
