The media had reports that Warburg Pincus may buy out Metvante Investments (Mauritius) Limited’s 20 percent holding in the company.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Firstsource Solutions Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The Company has no information regarding Warburg Pincus' plans, if any, to acquire a majority stake in the Company or the modalities for the same as reported in the media." -- www.nseindia.com
