Brooklyn’s Best Female Singer/Songwriters To Perform At Museum Of Jewish Heritage1

As the Brooklyn Bridge turns 125 years old, the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is bringing the next exciting thing out of the borough and into Manhattan. On Wednesday, June 11 join singer/songwriters Chana Rothman, Clare Burson, and Michelle Citrin as they take the stage in the Museum’s Edmond J. Safra Hall for The Best of Brooklyn.

This eclectic lineup of Brooklynbased musicians will be held at 7 p.m. and will showcase a new generation of female Jewish artists.

Tickets are $15 nonmembers, $10 members. Dynamic and soulful, Rothman, Burson, and Citrin represent Brooklyn’s flourishing artistic community, but with successful tours in Nepal, Israel, Italy, and Australia, these performers excite audiences far beyond their borough.

This performance will mark the first time Clare Burson and Michelle Citrin appear at the Museum. Chana Rothman performed in the Museum’s First Annual New York’s Best Emerging Jewish Artists showcase, where she was a crowd favorite. -- www.mjhnyc.org
