The Saturday evening concert takes place at Central United Methodist Church located in central Phoenix.
Please note that The Phoenix Symphony does not perform on this concert.
The Glee Club's performance in Phoenix is part of a large-scale tour commemorating the 150th Anniversary of their founding. Other highlights of the tour include the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and the Ravinia Festival in Chicago.
The concert program is selected from the Glee Club's vast repertoire, which spans centuries of choral literature and includes composers such as Palestrina, Rachmaninoff and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Dominick Argento. -- www.phoenixsymphony.org
