Built to support the more complex printing requirements facing today's In-Plant and Print-for-Pay environments, the new Fiery-based EB-135 Print Controller sets the standard for performance and reliability.
Based on EFI's new System 8e architecture, EB-135 capabilities include: easily printing Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents through an email client without a printer driver; strengthened security, including enhanced LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) support, designed to eliminate unauthorized operation; and EFI's in-RIP (Raster Image Processing) color management system provides consistent, predictable color. The Fiery-based EB-135 also provides a new user-friendly interface, improved page programming features, new preset scan settings as well as full integration with Ricoh's robust third-party finishing options.
Keeping pace with the need to provide a more secure document workflow, the new EB-135 supports several new security-related features in addition to full user authentication, including the ability to overwrite data sent through the device utilizing the new Secure Erase capability.
The new Fiery EB-135 comes standard with 512MB of RAM a hard disk drive capacity of 80GB and a fast 2.8 GHz Intel Celeron processor to expedite production - EFI.
