Michael Jackson's doctor has been identified. Dr. Conrad Robert Murray has been confirmed as the missing doctor wanted for questioning by Los Angeles Police Department investigators in connection with the singer's death.

KHOU news in Houston has identified Dr. Conrad Robert Murray as the missing doctor being sought for questioning by law enforcement in connection with Michael Jackson's sudden death yesterday afternoon. Dr. Conrad Robert Murray is believed to have injected Michael Jackson with, what reports suggest, may have been a lethal dose of the pain killer Demerol.

A medical assistant at the Acres Home Heart and Vascular Institute confirms that a doctor from the Institute was one of Michael Jackson's physicians. She further confirms that Dr. Conrad Robert Murray was with Jackson when he went into cardiac arrest Thursday afternoon.

Law enforcement sources report that the BMW belonging to Dr. Conrad Robert Murray was towed from Jackson's home last night. As it turns out, the Texas license plates on the BMW are registered to Susan Rush, who is Dr. Murray's sister, according to the medical assistant.

At this time, Dr. Conrad Robert Murray is not a suspect in any criminal investigation. Los Angeles police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said coroner’s investigators were seeking to interview the doctor and said “[h]is car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death,” She did stress that Dr. Conrad Robert Murray is not under criminal investigation.
