Babysitter Summer Nelson Charged with Having Sex with Boy

The Los Angeles Times reports that a Post Falls, Idaho babysitter, Summer Nelson, was arrested and charged on Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child amid allegations that she had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy under her care.

According to court records, Summer Nelson was a friend of the boy's mother. In 2007, the Mother hired Summer Nelson to watch and care for her son.

However in December of 2008, the 14-year-old boy's mother became suspicious of the attention Summer Nelson was giving her son and reported the abuse to police.

A police investigation into Post Falls babysitter ensued and police were able to determine that Summer Nelson had at least four sexual encounters with the boy.

Apparently, Summer Nelson was not shy about her feelings and/or relationship with the boy as investigators allege that she told the boy's siblings that she was in love with the him. Summer Nelson is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
