Cannabis is the name of the new medical marijuana Iphone App that has been approved by Apple that will allow people to find the nearest and most convenient location to purchase medical marijuana. That's right, a new Iphone app that helps you find the nearest pot dealer.
Cannabis, priced at $2.99, will help you locate where you can purchase medical marijuana by taking your location when you activate the app and providing you with the known locations of doctors, clinics, and organizations from three sources and aggregates them on a Google Map.
The new medical marijuana Iphone app is only available in United States which currently has 13 states that allow medical marijuana to be sold. However, Cannabis can be used overseas should you find yourself in Amsterdam and just can't seem to follow the scent of pot to the nearest marijuana coffee shop.
Cannabis is only designed to help you locate legal medical marijuana. If you still like to get your marijuana the old fashioned way, such as through a street dealer, you are on your own as far as Apple is concerned. Cannabis comes with "a strong message about its social responsibility and that it does not promote illegal cannabis use without a physician’s recommendation," according to Ben Parr from Mashable.
