There was a time when Tom Sizemore was considered to be one of Hollywood's most talented actors starring in such hit films as "Heat" and "Black Hawk Down." However, now, it seems that the only headlines he gets are the ones surrounding his most recent arrest. This time it's another domestic violence incident in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, police received a domestic violence call after Sizemore reportedly got into an argument with a female companion that allegedly became physical.
Ultimately, Tom Sizemore was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. Apparently, Sizemore is still in custody even though his bail was set at $20,000.
In addition to his well documented battle with drugs, Tom Sizemore is also no stranger to domestic violence. As a matter of fact, he was convicted of domestic violence charges in 2003 for hitting his girlfriend (at that time) Heidi Fleiss, the famous Hollywood madam who, herself, was convicted of pandering and sent to prison.
More recently, at the end of May of this year, it was a domestic violence call that landed Tom Sizemore back in jail on a warrant. On May 28, police responded to another domestic violence report involving Sizemore in Los Angeles. As it turned out, at that time, he had a $25,000 outstanding narcotics warrant out of Bakersfield and was arrested at the scene.
A tip from a Los Angeles domestic violence lawyer: If the police are called out on a domestic violence incident, someone is going to jail. Period. You cannot talk the police out of it. Police are not there to mediate your relationship. They are there to protect and the best way to do that in a domestic violence incident is to take someone to jail.
