My cat downloaded child porn. In what is arguably the best defense ever, a Florida man arrested for downloading child pornography on his computer told Sheriff's deputies that it was his cat, not him, who downloaded the child porn. (I am not making this up.)
Keith Griffin of Jensen Beach, Florida, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after detective found more than 1,000 child pornographic images on his computer.
Griffin, taking the age old excuse of "my dog ate it" to an entirely new twisted level, immediately blamed his cat.
According to the sheriff's report, Jensen told investigators that his cat, who has not been identified by name at this time, jumped on his computer keyboard while he was downloading music. Griffin then left the room for some unknown period of time and, when he returned, found "strange things" on his computer. No word on whether the cat was neutered.
Griffin is being held in custody in the Martin County jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
As for that cat, it better hope sheriff's investigators don't dust for paw prints.
