The hot air balloon that was flying out of control through the skies of Colorado reportedly with a 6-year-old boy trapped inside, in fact, had no child inside at all. The Colorado hot air balloon just landed like a feather in a field surrounded by emergency crews who, much to their surprise, did not find the 6-year-old boy inside the cabin of the hot air balloon. So where is the 6-year-old boy?
The 6-year-old boy has been identified as Falcon Heene and is the son of the Colorado hot air balloons' creator. Falcon who was reportedly seen by his brother getting inside the experimental aircraft's compartment just prior to it being torn away from its tether causing the hot air balloon to fly away uncontrollably. The brother told his parents which then captured the attention of the nation.
Now authorities are contemplating all the possibilities as to the whereabouts of the 6-year-old boy including everything from he fell out of the hot air balloon prior to news coverage picking up the story to this entire story being a hoax. Authorities, at this time, are not leaning toward hoax since the boy is still missing.
The Heene family who created the balloon was recently on the television reality show "Wife Swap" and are being having an unusual lifestyle. The father has been identified as Richard Henee who has been described as having a fascination with storm chasing.
Whatever the truth may be, at this time, the 6-year-old boy that was reportedly trapped inside the Colorado hot air balloon is still missing
and efforts will continue to try to solve this mystery and find the boy.
