CSI Miami Star Arrested for Domestic Violence

Jonathan Togo, one of the stars of "CSI: Miami", was arrested for domestic violence last night. The young "CSI: Miami" star was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence at his home after a fight with his girlfriend allegedly turned violent.

The arrest of the "CSI: Miami" star all started after police were dispatched to Jonathan Togo's home early this morning at approximately 2:00 a.m. regarding a fight between Togo and his girlfriend. After interviewing everyone involved, Togo was arrested for felony domestic violence.

It is worth noting that even though the "CSI: Miami" star was arrested for felony domestic violence, it does not necessarily mean that he will be charged with felony domestic violence. In California, a charge of felony domestic violence is largely driven by the nature and extent of the injuries to the victim.

The injuries will certainly be a factor in this case as it was reported that the "CSI: Miami" star's girlfriend did not require immediate medical treatment for injuries. Generally, felony domestic violence requires a showing of a "traumatic condition." A "traumatic condition" can be any kind of visible injury ranging from a bruise to a broken nose. Thus, the exact nature and extent of the Togo's girlfriend's injuries will play a large role in if or how Togo will be charged.

Once the police showed up at Jonathan Togo's house, the "CSI: Miami" star had a 50/50 chance of being arrest for domestic violence. Why? In California, when the police show up on a domestic violence call, more often then not, someone is going to jail. Police officers are not there to mediate your relationship. They are there to protect the public. The best way they can do that is to diffuse the situation and take someone to jail.

After interviewing everyone involved, the police must have come to the conclusion that it was Jonathan Togo, and not his girlfriend, that was the aggressor in the fight. Therefore, the "CSI: Miami" star was arrested for felony domestic violence. Togo is currently being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
